These types of dog house are built with Styrofoam sheets as insulation within the walls, ceilings and floor, and are usually covered with panelling or some other type of material, wood or plastic. When purchasing find out about the construction i.e. how durable the insulation is and how well built the dog house is. Also how high off the ground the house is to keep rain from coming in or for snow to block the entrance. Plastic insulated dog houses come in more common sizes LARGE and SMALL but within these two brackets most dog and dog sizes can be accommodated.
